I am not a huge science fair fan. Liam had to do science fair and Colm opted to do it even though he didn’t have to, so “we” had to do two science fair projects this year. Colm was testing to see which would melt faster: ice cream, sherbet or frozen yogurt. Liam tested to see if he could get a marble to float in salt water and he tested water with various levels of salt…kind of like the Dead Sea. I am just glad to say that they’re done. Thank goodness!

It looks like the Fro Yo melts the fastest? Is this hypothesis correct? Did Liam get enough salt saturation to make the marble float? This is more exciting than Bill Nye!
Also, the next time I submit a grant research proposal, I would like to have post-study containers of goodness left in my freezer!
His hypothesis was correct! 🙂 Liam did not get enough salt in there to get the marbles to float. His graph looks kind of funny because all of his results are zero.
