On the way back home from camping we stopped by the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We got to see some cheese being made, got to sample some cheese and, of course, had to have an ice cream cone before we headed home.

This little guy got left behind when the tide went back out. We finally got up the nerve to pick him up and put him back in the ocean.
We spent the weekend camping and we had a great time. The campsite we stayed at was near the beach and some great hiking as well.
These two are done with another year of school and Liam will be moving on to middle school next year which means we now have a 4th grader and a 6th grader in the house.
I was the recipient of an award at the boys’ school today. It was quite an honor as there are so many people at that school who could have been recognized for their efforts as well. They sent me home with this beautiful hanging pot that I ended up not hanging.
Colm’s end of year party was today. Each child recited a poem for the parents and then there was a reception with cake, cookies and apple juice. The kids did a fantastic job and I loved that it was a peaceful quiet “party” and not a crazy wild party. Quite frankly, this class had enough crazy and wild the rest of the school year. (God bless their teacher who probably developed a drinking problem because of this year’s class.) 🙂
